May the Lord Walk Beside You

May the Lord Walk Beside You was composed in 1998 to be sung at my son’s missionary farewell. It was originally written as a duet with a flute (or violin) obbligato for my daughters to sing during that meeting. I later arranged it in SSA format, in which the upper voice may be sung, if the soprano has the range and a mild enough tone not to overpower the other two parts. If not, the high voice may be played by a flute or violin.

The song is available in the keys of D flat and E flat, to be sung according to the vocal ranges of the singers.
