A Gift of Love

A Relief Society teacher in my Ward asked if I would write a song to go along with her lesson. The words and the music came together quite easily. And, so, A Gift of Love was created, then performed a week later in Relief Society. The song was awarded 3rd place in the 1989 Relief Society Song Contest and subsequently published in the Church magazine, the New Era, in 1990. The song can be sung as a solo or a duet.
