Nourish the Word: A Cantata for the Young Women

Nourish the Word was written in response to the request of our Stake Young Women’s President. She was looking for a musical presentation about the message from Alma, chapter 32. My friend, an accomplished, inspired director and I taught the songs to the Young Women of the Stake. I was blessed to feel a great deal of love and testimony from those lovely Young Women as they presented the cantata during a fireside for the area. Shortly following the fireside, the Stake President invited the Young Women’s Choir to sing the two final songs from the cantata at our Stake Conference. It was a delight to be part of this beautiful YW chorus.
